SnowRSPS ships a custom in-game radio — a neon deck inside the client, not a random browser tab. Spin stations while you boss, skill, or hang in town. After you update to the latest Snowscape client build, open the radio tab with ::radio (or ::dj) / tab 7 and you are in.
Check out our radio in-game. It is built for Snow — seasonal stations, real Share sync with other players, and honest listener counts. No fake "50 listening" stickers.
How to open it
- Download / update the SnowRSPS client so you have the current Snowscape build.
- Log in.
- Type
::radioor::dj, or open the radio tab (tab 7). - Pick a station. Use volume freely — volume is separate from the station-change cooldown.
Seasonal defaults (America/Chicago)
- October 1–31 — spooky season. Expect Halloween Hits (Main), Halloween Oldies, Horror Themes, and related Halloween stations on the deck.
- November 1 onward — Christmas lane. The client prefers 181 Xmas Power as the holiday default (plus other Xmas.FM / Christmas streams on the list).
You can still flip to rock, R&B, 80s/90s, SomaFM Space Station, and other year-round stations anytime — seasonal defaults only set the starting vibe.
Share vs Solo
Solo = private listening. You pick the station; nobody else is pulled along.
Share = real shared station with other players on that room. When Share is on and the dedi radio pack is live, the host's station syncs to followers — same station index, shared DJ feel. The Share row shows Hosting / Listening once the server counts are live. Deep dive: Radio Share guide.
Honest listener counts (N)
The (N) next to a station means real people on that station from the game server — never faked. Until the client has received a live server count packet, the list does not invent a solo "(1)". When Share rooms are up, counts move as people join, leave, or Solo out.
Volume vs station cooldown
Crank volume whenever you want. Station changes have a short cooldown so the deck does not thrash streams. That cooldown does not lock your volume slider.
What's rolling out with this client wave
Snow is applying the Snowscape client + dedi radio/reconnect packs now. After you update, you get Share-capable radio, seasonal stations, login hang auto-retry, and in-game DC reconnect (~5–10s window). Details: October 2026 client update.
